Cornerstone park8/14/2023 We are grateful to our three founding Cornerstone partners, who are helping to spread the impact and influence of Canada’s large urban parks. Through Cornerstone Parks we’re committed to linking active community organizations to each other, to other large urban park groups and to a bigger movement to hold space for nature in cities. We recognize that people have long-standing, diverse and valuable connections to their beloved large green spaces. Please click on the Google Map to the right for directions. Park People established Cornerstone Parks to spread the impact and influence of large urban parks. Henderson’s Cornerstone Park is idyllic for bird-watchers, but officials want it to have a broader appeal. They give people pathways to build meaningful connections to nature and each other and they give cities a big head start when it comes to mitigating the impacts of climate change. Large parks like High Park, Mount Royal and Stanley Park hold space for nature in our cities.
